In 1962 my father and brother went up to, what was then, Falls Gully, from our State of Maine. Falls Gully was a lodge with 2 lakes full of brook trout. I started going up to Falls Gully with the family in 1965 after returning from active duty in the US Army. I have continued to visit and fish these two lakes ever since. Some years I have gone on more than one trip because I enjoy the place so much. It is a delightful location with very good fishing and excellent food. The owners, Gerard Gonzalez and his wife, are very nice people who want to make your stay with them as pleasant as possible. The meals are provided at a time you wish and are outstanding in quality. The two lakes contain many brook trout of various sizes. This past spring two of my trout were over two pounds and all my take home fish were 13 inches or more. This lodge is now called Robidoux Lakes Outfitters and although the name has changed the quality of the accommodations, quality of the food and fishing remain as just perfect for the die hard trout fisherman. It is not a Holiday Inn nor should it be. Rather it is a peaceful piece of Heaven for a true trout fisherman who has a big appetite for food and fishing.

You find the decor enchanting, far from the noise of the city in which to engage in fishing in the two lakes situated in proximity to the inn. The native trout of Grand Robidoux Lake are quite delicious. The owners are friendly and helpful. Our group of four fishermen return to this outfitter every year.

My sixth stay at Robidoux Lake Outfitter, like usual, has been quite agreeable by all points of view.
Our comfortable accommodation and warm welcome gives us the feeling like we stayed a couple of days with friends. The staff is always there, no matter what time, either to prepare the rowboats and motors, to empty them and to assure the conservation of the fish.
I am always surprisingly happily with the quality and the choice of menu. It is rich and delicious.
When fishing on the lake, I practice fly fishing, I really like having two lakes as close as a hundred meters that permit me to vary my fishing without going too far. Moreover, Petite Robidoux Lake always assures me fishing in a pleasant and secure way in heavy weather. It is sure that fishing is fishing, like we say, but a general rule, my success is within my expectations.
