Woodcock hunting
The Robidoux Lakes Outfitter is situated in the Robidoux Canton and is found in the proximity of the legendary Bonaventure River in Gaspe in the south-east of the St Lawrence, in the foothills southwest of the Chic Chocs Mountains. The climatic conditions and the biotope of the Bay of Chaleur region permits the presence of a particularly high number of woodcock and ruffed grouse. Besides, an important strong migration develops at the end of September and lasts the month of October and permits the American woodcock hunting in the best conditions in a zone of high density and through the works of our guides and their dogs to guarantee an unforgettable experience of hunting of high quality. The legislation of hunting in Quebec authorize four woodcock and five grouse per hunting day / per hunter with a total limit of 16 woodcock and 10 grouse for your stay. If you are with your dog, you must have a valid international vaccination certificate including vaccination against rabies and its collar must have a dog tag with its name, race and owner. We provide shelter in our kennel during your stay, each dog has a comfortable dog house. A veterinary clinic is found in New Richmond should there be a problem with your dog. We welcome you upon your arrival with a cocktail, place at your disposal your room and place any needs of your dog at the kennel. We introduce you to your guide, establish your plan and form hunting teams for the week of hunting according to changes in hunting and migration. Hunting runs in different territories in the various biotopes, accompanied by a guide, his dog and his vehicles. Breakfast is provided in the inn every morning. Departure follows.
